Established in 1976 this prize recognizes notable contributions to the field of molecular spectroscopy and dynamics. The recipient is invited to contribute a perspective article to The Journal of Chemical Physics. It is presented annually.

Professor Stolow was recognised “For the development of methods for probing and controlling ultrafast dynamics in polyatomic molecules, including time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy and imaging, strong field molecular ionization, and dynamic Stark quantum control.”
