The 606th WEH-Seminar on Nanophotonics and Complex Spatial Modes of Light was held at the Physikzentrum in Bad Honnef, Germany. The event was organised by Peter Banzer and Gerd Leuchs, both members of the MPC. Young researchers and students were brought together with leading international experts from different optics communities, such as nano-optics, plasmonics, nanophotonics and structured light. The event featured oral presentations by 22 renowned speakers, poster sessions, poster awards and many more. Numerous members of the Max Planck – University of Ottawa Centre for Extreme and Quantum Photonics were among the speakers and participants. This highly successful event served as a recruitment and outreach platform for this MPC.
