The 7th annual meeting was held exclusively online due to the ongoing travel restrictions related to the Covid-19 Pandemic. This years iteration included virtual lab tours, scientific talks panel discussions and poster sessions.

The first day opened with lab tours at the University of Ottawa. This was followed by research talk from selected junior groups. After a short break, we had a scientific panel discussion on optics for quantum technologies. The second day opened with lab tours at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light. This was followed by a general town hall meeting where all researchers that are involved in the research activities of the MPC-EQP share their ideas on how the Centre is doing and how we can improve it. We then held a scientific panel discussion on Optics and Complex Media. Lastly, we closed with another poster session.
